Qualifications
Certified in India by Yoga Alliance in 2013
Studied under Yogi Kamal Singh at Tatwaa Yoga Shala in Rishikesh, North India, where she was mainly trained in traditional Ashtanga practice
My personal journey and passion for yoga began about 6 years ago, when I began to focus on regular yoga practice to help overcome long-term physical injury and to facilitate healing.
My personal practice is a mix of Pranayama, Ashtanga, Yin and dynamic Flow.
In teaching, I encourages students to focus on the breath and to get some understanding of body alignment. The teaching is focused on enabling all students to truly experience the benefits, joy and true meaning behind any regular yoga practice and the importance of bringing this knowledge outside their yoga mat, too.
I love supporting students to find their own journey in yoga and to take their practice to the next level.
A avid cyclist and swimmer, I have always been surrounded by tri-athletes who I’m incredably privlaged to call close friends, my wish is to see many more athletes and regular gym goers trying yoga and including regular yoga practice into their training programs. Not only to enhance performance through its amazing benefits but to strengthen different muscle groups and prevent injuries and also to experience a life changing experience as well.
Outside of yoga life I am a web developer and designer, with a passion for photography, travel, nutrition, homeopathic medicine studies and coffee.
I am so happy to be given this opportunity to be part of Shaped Forever team.
To share my knowledge and awareness of what I love and believe; and helping people to feel better about their lives is an amazing feeling.
